Walgreens Web Pickup, BJ’s Acquired, K-VA-T Cuts Prices
Walgreens will roll out its Web Pickup service at 480 locations throughout the Chicago area.
Chicago is the first full market rollout for Web Pickup, which enables consumers to shop online at Walgreens.com and pick up orders at a Walgreens store in as little as an hour, with the service currently available at 27 stores in San Jose, Calif.

Promotional Email, Big Y Digital Loyalty, Netflix Stops 3rd-Party Access
The top online retailers sent each of their subscribers 3.1 promotional emails on average during the week ending June 17, 2011, according to the Retail Email Blog.
That’s up 2% week-over-week, down 4% from where it was four weeks ago, and up 6% year-over-year. That was the smallest year-over-year increase since last July.

Wal-Mart Stores Inc. plans to test its first web-based fresh grocery delivery service in California, looking online for new sources of revenue growth, a person familiar with the project told Bloomberg.
