Walgreens Web Pickup, BJ’s Acquired, K-VA-T Cuts Prices
Walgreens will roll out its Web Pickup service at 480 locations throughout the Chicago area.
Chicago is the first full market rollout for Web Pickup, which enables consumers to shop online at Walgreens.com and pick up orders at a Walgreens store in as little as an hour, with the service currently available at 27 stores in San Jose, Calif.

Macy’s Facebook Fans, Wal-Mart ‘American Idol’ CD, Canadian Tire Appliances
Macy’s doubled its number of Facebook fans from 900,000 to 1.8 million as the result of its "Million Dollar Makeover" campaign this year, according to executives quoted in the Chicago Sun-Times.
Macy’s dedicated $120 million of its $1 billion marketing outlay in each of the past two years to digital media.
